The SWIT BM-U245 23.8-inch 4K/8K 12GSDI Professional Studio Broadcast Monitor allows for precise image control and monitoring for your next film or broadcast production. It features an Ultra-HD/4K 3840 x 2160 LCD panel display with video assist and multiview functions, an incredible 178° viewing angle, and high contrast ratio and brightness levels, and professional-grade image quality. With multiple input and output options and the ability to display different HDR/SDR and colour gamuts simultaneously, this monitor is the perfect monitoring solution for use in broadcast studios and movie productions.

Display Modes

The BM-U245 supports various input options for 4K and 8K content, including 12GSDI, HDMI®2.0, and Quad link 3GSDI or 12GSDI. It also allows for up to four independent 4K videos to be viewed simultaneously, with the ability to handle mixed formats such as 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI and HDMI® 2.0/1.4/1.3. Additionally, it offers features such as waveform, vector, audio meters, EOTF, and colour gamut selection for each input.

HDR/SDR EOTFs

The BM-U245 23.8-inch 4K/8K 12GSDI Professional Studio Broadcast Monitor. Featuring HLG, Dolby Vision PQ, S-Log3, and multiple HDR and SDR EOTFs, along with a variety of colour gamut options, this monitor is a must-have for any professional studio.

Payload ID Auto Setting

Support input video Payload ID identifies and the monitor will automatically set HDR/SDR EOTFs, Color Gamut, Input range, Color space and Color depth according to the Payload ID info.

Multi CG & EOTF Viewing

Supports 1 input source copied to 4 windows and displays different HDR/SDR and colour gamuts simultaneously. You can get the correct reference when producing HDR and SDR together.

3DLUT Auto Self-Calibration

With built-in 3DLUT calibration software, (software copyright) support X-rite i1 and Jeti Specbos 1211 probes to directly connect with the monitor USB port.
The monitor generates colour patterns and the colour probes read the colour, and send colour info to the monitor via USB. Then the monitor compares the color difference generates 3DLUT and calibrates itself automatically.

HDR/SDR De-log LUTs

The monitor has built-in multi-camera logs to HLG1000, PQ1000, Rec 709 SDR conversion LUTs, including Log-C, C-log, S-log2, S-log3, V-log, J-log1, RedLogFilm etc. You can also upload User LUTs to monitor by USB disk, supporting 17x17x17 3DLUT cube files.

Multiple Video Analysis Patterns

Audio Patterns

Use the embedded audio meters display to view up to 16 channels, and choose any 2 channels to output through either the speaker or 3.5mm headphone socket. Additionally, the BM-U monitors are capable of displaying Lissajous and 5.1 2 surround sound patterns.

Eye Pattern

Built-in eye pattern to check input video transmission quality via SDI cable, especially the 12GSDI quality.

Webserver IP Remote Control

The BM-U245 from SWIT enables remote control through the web server via an Ethernet LAN connection. Simply access the monitor control panel via a computer with a web browser to manage input sources, fine-tune picture settings, and customize video/audio functions and function keys, without the need for any additional apps.
